Dual-use · Beyond the field
One autonomous platform, far beyond the field.
Everything that makes Ecominos dependable between crop rows — obstacle-aware autonomy, AI that runs with no network, implements that swap in minutes — does the same job in a municipal park, on a fire ground, across a hospital campus and inside a university lab.
- 6–8 h
- mission time per charge
- 75–110 kg
- platform weight, moved without a crane
- TRL 7
- validated technology readiness
- 2025
- first municipal delivery
The duty changes. The platform does not.
The difference between a municipal park and a vegetable field is the implement on the back. The chassis, the autonomy and the decision layer stay the same — so a new duty does not mean a new fleet.
- Modular hitch
- Standard mounting points swap the implement in minutes: a mowing deck, a trailer, a sensor mast or a duty-specific cabinet.
- Autonomous navigation
- Stereo depth cameras, LiDAR and RTK-GPS fused into centimetre-level positioning, with obstacle and people avoidance.
- Intelligence without a network
- An NVIDIA-based edge AI unit decides on board. A valley with no signal, or a site whose infrastructure has failed, does not stop the autonomy.
- Light body
- 75–110 kg. It travels on a pickup bed, leaves turf and soft ground uncompacted, and stays a safe mass around people.

Municipalities and local government
It keeps parks, medians and green space maintained through the night.
For a municipality the most visible burden is keeping large green spaces in order. Ecominos mows parks, medians and sports grounds autonomously, freeing the day shift from heavy repetitive work and carrying on — quietly and with no exhaust — after the park has closed.
- Autonomous turf care across parks, medians and sports grounds
- Electric and quiet: night shifts without noise complaints
- A green-space and irrigation record written on every pass

Fire and emergency response
It enters the hot zone before a person has to.
In an industrial or warehouse fire the first fifteen minutes put crews at their highest risk. A remotely commanded Ecominos closes on the hot zone with a water monitor and a thermal camera, holding the team at a safe distance while imaging, temperature mapping and gas readings flow back to the command point.
- First-attack water or foam monitor under remote command
- Thermal and visual reconnaissance through smoke
- Gas and temperature mapping before a crew goes in

Health and emergency care
It reaches the casualty with a defibrillator before the ambulance can.
In sudden cardiac arrest, survival falls sharply with every minute that passes. Across large campuses, seafronts, showgrounds and city parks — places where an ambulance loses minutes it does not have — Ecominos stands by as an autonomous first-aid cabinet: on call, it drives itself to the scene carrying an AED, oxygen and a casualty blanket.
- Locked cabinet carrying an AED, oxygen and a first-aid kit
- Autonomous dispatch on call, with two-way voice
- Standing patrol routes across hospital and university campuses

Industrial site and facility monitoring
It patrols the port, the warehouse and the construction site all night.
A fixed camera only ever sees where it points. Ecominos walks its planned route on its own through the night: missing personal protective equipment, a door left open, a panel running hot or a vehicle where it should not be — each is detected and pushed to the shift supervisor as it happens.
- Autonomous night patrol including helmet and vest checks
- Thermal anomalies: hot panels, bearings and storage areas
- Time-stamped record of perimeter and vehicle movement

Education and research
A research platform students can write code for and take outdoors.
For robotics, agronomy and computer-vision departments Ecominos is not a sealed box: the sensor mast extends, the data exports, and the autonomy layer is open to coursework and thesis projects. Code written in the lab can run in the field the same day.
- Extensible sensor mast: LiDAR, multispectral, thermal
- Open data export for coursework, theses and competitions
- Joint field trials with universities and research centres
Other fields where the same platform is being assessed.
If your duty is close to one of these, or not on the list at all, write to us — we will work out together whether the platform fits it.
- Power generation — solar farm and wind site inspection
- Mining and quarries — unmanned site survey
- Airports and logistics — landside perimeter patrol
- Search and rescue — reconnaissance and supply carry around rubble
- Forests and wetlands — fuel-load monitoring before fire season
- Tourism estates — large grounds maintenance and night security
- Greenhouses and nurseries — indoor transport and monitoring
- Warehouses and plants — autonomous material transport
