Company shares, not a donation or reward
Orbiba Robotics launched an equity crowdfunding campaign through the Fonlabüyüsün platform to accelerate its agricultural robotics development. Tarımca's pre-campaign announcement described an effort to connect the company's plans for AI-enabled field robots and agricultural analysis systems with a broader community of investors.
This model differs from reward- or donation-based crowdfunding. Participants do not simply pre-order a product; they acquire shares under the conditions set out in the campaign documentation. The process operates through an authorised platform within Türkiye's Capital Markets Board framework. Historical campaign results should therefore be discussed separately from product promises, and with the risks of early-stage investment made clear.
The result reported after completion
Halk Yatırım's activity reports state that the campaign opened with an initial target of TRY 5.5 million and received TRY 6,709,197 in demand from 1,382 investors. After applying the regulatory limit for 20% additional funding, TRY 6.6 million was ultimately transferred to the company. These figures relate to a completed historical campaign and do not represent an investment offer that is open today.
- Financing type: equity crowdfunding.
- Platform: Fonlabüyüsün, operated within Halk Yatırım.
- Initial target: TRY 5.5 million.
- Participation: 1,382 investors; TRY 6.6 million ultimately transferred.
For Orbiba, the campaign mattered not only for the capital raised but also for communicating a vision of cleaner production and accessible farm robotics to a broad shareholder base. Equity crowdfunding nevertheless remains a high-risk form of early-stage investment. This article is not investment advice; it documents a past company milestone.
