2. What this notice covers

This notice explains what orbibarobotics.com stores in your browser (cookies and similar local storage) and how the site's analytics tools work, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Data you share through the contact, careers and Beta Program forms is covered by the KVKK/GDPR Privacy Notice and Consent Statement.

3. Strictly necessary cookies and storage

These are needed for the site to work. They do not depend on your consent and are never used for advertising or analytics.

NEXT_LOCALE (cookie)

Remembers the language you chose. Deleted when you close the browser.

orbiba-analytics-consent-v2 (local storage)

Remembers whether you accepted or declined in the cookie banner. Kept until you delete it or withdraw your choice.

Session storage (sessionStorage)

Carries your scroll position on the home page and the scenario passed from the cost calculator to a form. Deleted when you close the tab.

orbiba_beta_session, orbiba_beta_exchange (cookies)

Open a secure form session only for people invited to the Beta Program by email. Kept for the life of the invitation, at most 14 days.

Admin panel cookies

Keep Orbiba staff signed in to the admin panel. Never set for visitors.

4. Analytics: only with your consent

Unless you choose "Accept" in the banner, the tools below are not loaded and send nothing. "Decline" switches both off.

Google Analytics 4 (Google)

Measures which pages are visited, where a visit came from, device and browser type, approximate location (country, city) and events such as button clicks. No names, email addresses, phone numbers or form text are attached to events. Cookies: _ga and a cookie starting with _ga_, up to 2 years.

OpenReplay (session recording)

Records your visit as a session that can be replayed: pages opened, scrolling, mouse movement and clicks, which form fields were entered and in what order, technical errors, and the timing and outcome of network requests. Device, browser, screen size and an approximate location derived from your IP address are also processed. Local storage: keys starting with __openreplay_. The device identifier stays until you delete it; session data is deleted when you close the tab.

5. What session recording never captures

Session recording captures nothing you type into a form. Your name, email address, phone number, message and uploaded files never enter a recording. It shows only which field was clicked.

Email addresses and numbers shown in page text are masked. The contents and headers of network requests (including cookies and authorisation data) are not recorded. Embedded content such as YouTube videos is not recorded.

If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, session recording does not start, even if you accepted.

6. Purpose and legal basis

We use analytics data to understand how the site is used, find errors and slow pages, see where forms are abandoned and improve our content. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or identifying you as a person.

The legal basis for analytics is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, Article 5(1) KVKK). Strictly necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in running the site securely and as you requested (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, Article 5(2)(f) KVKK).

7. Recipients and international transfers

Analytics data is shared with Google and OpenReplay as service providers. They may process it outside Türkiye or the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Orbiba assesses the conditions and safeguards required by GDPR and KVKK for each international transfer. You may ask for current information about the destination country and the safeguard applied.

8. Retention

Event data in Google Analytics is kept for at most 14 months and then deleted automatically. OpenReplay session recordings are deleted automatically when the retention period set in our account expires. The lifetimes of the cookies and local storage in your browser are listed above, and you can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

9. Changing your choice

You can withdraw consent at any time. The button below clears your stored choice, stops analytics immediately and shows the banner again. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before it. You can delete any existing _ga cookies in your browser settings.

10. Your rights and contact

Under the GDPR and Article 11 KVKK you have the right to access your data, to ask for it to be corrected or erased, to ask for processing to be restricted and to object. Send requests to info@orbibarobotics.com.

You may complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl); in Türkiye it is the Personal Data Protection Authority (www.kvkk.gov.tr).
